One of the aims of its Materials R&amp;D Roadmap is to make eco-design accessible to all brands and distributors, regardless of their size and environmental maturity, through streamlined and customisable solutions.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Virtuously transforming materials into experience<\/strong> is Texen Group\u2019s self-designated mission. The Group positions itself as a solution provider for brands and distributors, thanks to its qualified <strong>eco-material<\/strong> library and efficient Texen Lab (R&amp;D and technical support).<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>SK Chemicals, a collaboration model<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>As part of this optimisation exercise, Texen Group is expanding its field of investigation and initiating flexible, responsive partnerships with certain materials suppliers. For\u00a0 example, the Group is working with <strong>SK Chemicals<\/strong>, attracted by the relevance of its catalogue and collaborative investigation approach, heralding great promise for <strong>responsible design<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Materials innovation<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>In particular, SK Chemicals offers a wide-ranging catalogue of <strong>copolyesters<\/strong> to meet market requirements such as transparency, chemical resistance and compatibility with the RIC #1 household recycling channel. This includes a full range (<strong>Ecotria<\/strong>) that combines copolyesters and recycled PET. Thanks to chemical recycling of copolyesters, this range is free from any kind of pollution and, by extension, any colouration. It thus meets customer expectations in terms of eco responsibility and recyclability.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Standard products and customer developments<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>The collaboration focuses as much on some of Texen Group\u2019s <strong>standard developments<\/strong> as <strong>on specific projects<\/strong>. Texen Group\u2019s standard products now come in Ecotria R format, made up of<strong> 70% PETG<\/strong> and <strong>30% PET<\/strong> from mechanical bottle recycling. They can be recycled through the PET recycling channel. Market demand, regardless of size and maturity, invariably focuses on how the injected material is recycled, its share of recycled content, its recyclability and performance in use.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Texen Group\u2019s materials library<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>In recent years, Texen, via the <strong>Texen Lab<\/strong>, has tested and validated a range of materials for beauty and spirits applications (injection process, compatibility with decoration and formulas, etc.). Texen Group\u2019s aim is to <strong>make strong proposals<\/strong> through objective characterisation of materials.
